Why won't my wife stay in the kitchen anymore?

I have been married to my wife for 3 years. We have had a great relationship. I would go to work and she would stay home and clean and cook. Now she said she does not want to be shackled by mankind. She always puts an emphasis on the man part of "MANkind." I do not know what has happened to her. She does not perform her... other duties as well. She said something about marching with other women and becoming a "liberal." Please help. I come from a humble southern family and I just want this to stay quiet
